What your application status means
What Pending, Approved and Waitlisted mean, and what happens next in each case.
After you apply, you can see your status on your dashboard whenever you sign in.
Signing your contract first
If you meet the minimum requirements, we ask you to sign your contract before your application is reviewed. Once you sign, your application moves to review.
Pending
We are reviewing your application. We will email you when there is news.
Approved
You are in. There is one last step: a 5-question quiz on the recording rules, so your first recordings get approved. You can get one answer wrong. If you do not pass, watch the video guide and read the Trainer Handbook again, then retake the quiz.
Once you pass, we ship your head strap (or arrange for you to pick it up), and your dashboard shows how to set up our recording app. Before your first recording, read equipment and setup.
Waitlisted
Your application is on the waitlist for now. Your status shows one of these three messages.
If your phone is not supported
We will let you know if your device is supported in the future. If you upgrade to a new device, you may reapply.
If you are under the minimum age
Trainers must meet minimum age requirements. When you meet the minimum age, you may reapply.
General waitlist
You've been added to the waitlist. We will notify you when you can begin Training with Robots Company.
With the first two messages, you may reapply once the reason no longer applies. With the third, there is nothing you need to do. We will contact you.
For the full list of requirements, see who can join.
