How Robots Company works
What Robots Company is and every step from signing in to getting paid for your approved hours.
Robots Company pays people in Thailand and Argentina to record everyday chores in their own homes. You wear your iPhone on a head strap, so the camera sees what you see while you wash dishes, cook or fold laundry. These recordings help teach robots to do the same tasks.
The people who record for us are called Trainers.
Step by step
- Sign in with your email. Enter your email address and we send you a 6-digit code. There is no password.
- Apply. Tell us a little about yourself, which phone you have and where we should ship your head strap.
- Sign your contract. If you meet the minimum requirements, we ask you to sign your contract.
- We review your application. We will email you when there is news.
- Get your equipment. If you are approved, we ship you a head strap (or you pick it up), and once you pass the rules quiz we set you up in our recording app.
- Record chores at home. Wear the strap, follow the recording rules and upload in the app.
- Get paid. We review every recording. You are paid for approved hours on the 1st and 16th of each month.
